British Heart Foundation Off-Road Bike Ride 2012

Starting in 2010 this is now the third year that The British Heart Foundation has run their Isle of Wight Off-Road Bike Race and this year will not dissappoint.

You can choose from 100km, 75km or 50km distances so there is something for the more adverntourius as well as thosse wanting to face their own personal challenges.

100km: Cycle around the whole of the island, visiting each of the corners, while staying off-road virtually all of the way, using the best natural, hilly, technical trails the island has to offer.

75km: This option still covers the island, but just misses off the far western leg. A great route that will leave you ready to tackle the 100km next year…

50km: This route is perfect for riders wanting an introduction to the island, including many of the best trails, but without going to each of the far corners of the island.

The whole event is to raise money for The British Heart Foundation so why not try and raise a bit of money for a good cause whilst getting fit and healthy and making your own heart healthier.

The ride starts as carisbrooke High School and does a round trip so ensure that you make arrangements for transport.
