A delicious family run Thai Restaurant in Cowes, Baan Thai has been in Cowes for the last 23 years and in their current location for 18 years and this means it is very nearly the longest running restaurant in Cowes. The name Baan Thai simply means ‘Thai House’.

The owners are Manee and Russell Spencer and Manee loves to cook, she was brought up in Bankok and with her mothers excellent tuition, became a fabulous cook. With her siblings also being chefs she was brought up with a love of food.
The specials at Baan Thai are taken from the best cuisines from China, Malaya and Indonesia and include Sticky Spicy Chicken Wings and Deep Fried Boiled Eggs as well as their perfect pudding Thai Custard.
Baan Thai is no stranger to celebrities and has entertained any number of famous people over the 23 years they have been running and have also been recommended in The Times and Tatler in the past.
There is spacious seating both downstairs in the main restaurant and also upstairs in the enclosed garden. Why not glance around and see the fresh herbs being grown in house for their delicious meals.
