The emphasis is on fresh, quality Isle of Wight food from the best of the Island’s farmers, and it is expertly prepared by our team of talented chefs.
If you want to eat your food according to the seasons, visit our farm shop. Seasonal food is always available, and we source the best fruit and vegetables from over 50 Isle of Wight producers and is developing a reputation as a real alternative to the supermarket for many discerning customers.
We also have the best in dairy products – milk, yogurt, cheese, cream and butter. Plus a wide range of local veg, meat, eggs, bread, chutney, jam, beer, cider and lots more! Louise Griffin, great granddaughter of Charles Griffin manages Briddlesford Lodge farm shop. The farm shop is located in what used to be the milking stable until 1996. The character of the building has been maintained but now the stalls where the cows once stood to be milked are piled high with delicious Isle of Wight produce.
Isle of Wight meats are a speciality and our farm shop butcher, has his cutting room at the back of the shop and a fantastic selection of meats on display. At his counter you can watch a craftsman at work as he cuts the joint of your choice while you wait.
We also have three rooms for bed and breakfast. Whether you are coming to the Isle of Wight for a holiday, or are here on business, we would love you to come and stay. Each room has its own television and tea and coffee making facilities. All our guests enjoy a delicious Isle of Wight breakfast served in the farmhouse until 9.00am or in our Bluebells Cafe from 9.30am at no extra charge.
