The Isle of Wight Menu Venue complies fully with The Data Protection Act and as such The Isle of Wight Menu Venue agrees that, except as directed by Client, it will not at any time during the term of this Agreement disclose any Confidential Information to any person whatsoever unless previously agreed upon by the client.

This local Isle of Wight website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions.

The Isle of Wight Menu Venue may also include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse the website(s). We have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).

In consideration of Client retaining The Isle of Wight Menu Venue to maintain a website to host the clients’ information, it is agreed as follows:

Client is solely responsible for supplying to The Isle of Wight Menu Venue any relevant website content it wants to have included, providing images in the correct size and file format unless The Isle of Wight Menu Venue is hired specifically for this purpose and it is stated in the agreed upon specifications. If all text and graphics necessary to complete the work are not received by The Isle of Wight Menu Venue within 14 days from the date of contract start date, the balance of payment may become due and payable upon request.

The following fees shall apply:

A one off fee in the amount of £50.00 is to be paid as the set-up fee for services required and before initial consultation or work is begun. The remaining subscription fee in the amount of £75.00 per annum for a standard Restaurant listing or £85.00 per annum for an upgraded Restaurant and Accommodation listing shall also be due at this time.

Once the client enters into a contract, verbal or written it is to be expected that the payments are made within the timescales agreed. Should this not occur then The Isle of Wight Menu Venue withholds the right to terminate all associated contracts related to the contract breach and request for all payments relating to the agreed upon contracts be paid in full.

The Isle of Wight Menu Venue agrees to complete this project within the estimated budget and time scale, unless client requires additional work or services not agreed upon, or if client requires multiple design drafts or repeated changes which would significantly increase work required of The Isle of Wight Menu Venue. The Isle of Wight Menu Venue will not charge any fees in addition to those specified in this contract without first consulting the client and reaching an agreement regarding this.

The Isle of Wight Menu Venue promises that it will perform said services in a professional and competent manner; that it has the power to enter into and perform this Agreement, however, Client will not determine or exercise control as to general procedures, formats or sub-contracting necessary to have these services meet Client’s satisfaction.

All content submitted to The Isle of Wight Menu Venue will be proofed before being allowed onto the website. Any content deemed inappropriate will not be allowed on to the website. In such circumstances a full explanation will be provided but the deposit will be retained for services already undertaken. In these instances a new page can be submitted at a surcharge of £25.00. This surcharge is non-negotiable.

Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

This Agreement shall commence on the date that the customer signs the contract, and shall remain in effect until such times as the agreement is cancelled in writing. Notice must be given one month in advance. Subscription charges will be invoiced automatically after the subscription period of one year has passed unless notice has previously been given by the client in writing.

Should the client default on any part of the terms and conditions within this document then all payments made shall be deemed non-refundable and all associated contracts deemed null & void and removed without notice from the website. No refunds of any associated contracts shall be provided and no reinstatement of such contracts unless through written consent of both The Isle of Wight Menu Venue and the client. All previous monies paid shall be lost and a new contract signed.
